If you're on holiday with kids, don't hesitate to bring them along; children are accommodated as well with colouring while they wait for their food. Santa Maria Del Mar Church
Originally a quaint chapel of worship,?Santa Maria Del Mar Church?is the oldest temple in the city. Blessed in 1776, this single nave and bell tower was used by sailors for many years. In 1936, it was sacked and alters were destroyed, as well as many scared images and furniture. In 1950, the tower was restored and enlarged with a long cross and a chapel. Murals by Josep Maria Güell were added between 1954 and 1966, as well as a decoration of the baptistery. Another mural in the tower, a depiction of Adam and Eve in Paradise, was done by Joan Garriga in 1964.
